Symptom : needs smog check but check engine light is on.
Diagnostics :
found 2A-15 (Evap Small Leak)
1) checked gas cap, it is good.
2) inspected evap lines, hoses and connectors, good.
3) performed Evap system Leak Test, no leak found
4) found that leak detection pump failed to create
vacuum.
Repair :
replaced leak detection pump, cleared code, perform a
road test to complete drive cycle. the check engine
light did not illuminate and no code returned.
